Runners of all levels (please note, however, that this is a sports trip that requires good physical fitness as well as real running experience on different terrains – road and trail).

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the trip to take place. A confirmation notice will be sent as soon as the required number of participants is reached, and a cancellation notice will be sent by email 3 months before the start of the course if it is cancelled.

Regular price:

• €2,400 per person (taxes included) for Europeans or $3,800 (taxes included) for Canadians, in double occupancy (room with two single beds)
• €2,600 per person (taxes included) for Europeans or $4,000 (taxes included) for Canadians, in single occupancy (room with one single bed)
• €4,500 (taxes included) for the duo package for Europeans or $7,300 (taxes included) for Canadians, in double occupancy (room with one double bed) – price covers 2 people

Full-board accommodation.

1. Booking

A Walden Aventure booking is confirmed upon receipt of:

• either a deposit equal to 20% of the total trip price per person
• or full payment for the trip

For any booking made less than 3 months before the departure date, full payment for the trip is required at the time of booking.

2. Payment of the balance

Where a deposit was paid at the time of booking, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 3 months before the start date of the trip. The participant may, however, pay the balance in full at any time before this deadline. If payment of the balance is not received within the stated timeframe, Walden Aventure reserves the right to cancel the booking in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.

3. Cancellation and refund policy

Any cancellation request must be sent to Walden Aventure by email and will take effect on the date it is received.

DEPOSIT The 20% deposit covers booking fees and commitments made to our partners. It is non-refundable, but may be converted into a personal travel credit under the conditions set out below.

CANCELLATION AFTER FULL PAYMENT Depending on the cancellation date, the following fees apply

→ More than 6 months before departure A cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total trip price applies. The remaining amount may:

• be refunded to the participant, less any applicable bank transaction or currency conversion fees
• or be converted, at the participant's request, into a personal travel credit of equivalent value, valid for 24 months

→ Cancellation between 3 and 6 months before departure A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total trip price applies. The remaining amount may:

• be refunded to the participant, less any applicable bank transaction or currency conversion fees
• or be converted into a personal travel credit of equivalent value, valid for 24 months

→ Cancellation less than 3 months before departure No refund is possible for a cancellation made less than 3 months before departure. However, Walden Aventure may, on an exceptional basis, offer a travel credit where special circumstances warrant it (e.g. a documented medical situation or a major unforeseeable event).

4. Transfer of participation

If a participant is no longer able to take part in the trip, they may request to transfer their booking to another person. Walden Aventure may accept this transfer provided that:

• the new person meets the conditions for participating in the trip
• the suppliers and partners concerned are able to accept this change
• any administrative or additional fees incurred are paid

The transfer request must be made sufficiently in advance of departure to allow the necessary arrangements to be made.

5. Cancellation of the trip by Walden Aventure

Should Walden Aventure be forced to cancel a trip:

• all amounts paid by the participant will be refunded in full, including the deposit
• No additional compensation may be granted beyond the refund of the amounts paid

6. Refund terms

Eligible refunds are issued within a reasonable timeframe (30 days) following confirmation of the cancellation. Refunds are issued in the currency used for the original payment. Transaction fees, bank fees, currency conversion fees and any other fees already incurred with third parties are non-refundable.

7. Cancellation insurance

Walden Aventure strongly recommends that every participant take out travel insurance covering, in particular, cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses and unforeseen events that could prevent them from taking part in the trip.

By registering for this trip, I waive any right to take legal action of any kind against Walden Aventure should I suffer injuries or other damages during or after the course.

I affirm that my physical condition allows me to take part in the practical portions of the course. Otherwise, I will voluntarily withdraw from any sessions that are not suitable for me.

I authorize Walden Aventure to take photos in the course of its activities. These photos may be modified, retouched, published, distributed, displayed or otherwise used for promotional and educational publications or videos. They may be shared worldwide, without any time limit. It is understood that the images taken will be presented in a positive manner. I release Walden Aventure from all liability and waive any claim arising directly or indirectly from the distribution of the images described above, by any means whatsoever.
